Elizabeth Walker passed away June 23, 2012 due to Parkinson’s Disease complications. She was 87 years old.
Known as Betty to all, she was married to the late Colston Walker for 63 years. Betty has a son Dale (Karen), grandsons John (Michele), and Greyson, and great grandson Daniel. She grew up in Maine with sisters Barbara Trafton, the late Evelyn Trafton, Eileen Hanson (Lloyd), and brother Lee (Pam).
Betty worked as a ship welder during WWII, and went on to earn a Master’s degree in Education. Before retiring to Florida, she was a teacher for 30 years.
