Elizabeth Janet Griswold, 89, of Chattanooga walked hand-in-hand with Jesus into Heaven on Thursday, January 24, 2013. “Liz” was born February 12, 1923 in Montello, Wisc. to David and Florence Owens. She was married to Arnold Griswold of Madison Wisc., on January 16, 1943. She was stricken with polio in July of 1949 but still was greatly involved in successfully raising two sons while working many jobs from her home. She enjoyed traveling, her crafts, her cross-word puzzles and her family. She moved to Chattanooga from Roswell, GA eleven years ago.
