Bill Posey when he served in the State legislature; then for Randy Ball; then for the Brevard County for 12 years in the IT and 911 section.
She was elected to serve on the Rockledge City Council and served for 23 years total, spanning a period from the 1980’s through the 2010’s. In 2003 she was awarded the Council Person of the Year of Florida By the Fl. League of Cities.
Her and husband Dan had many blessed years serving the family and community in Rockledge.
Georgia is predeceased by her sister Mary and brother Jimmy. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Dan; her two sons, Todd Phillips from Atlanta and Buddy (Cecil) Pack of Rockledge, and a granddaughter Carley Pack of St. Petersberg, Fl.
