Mystic – Elizabeth G. (Sullivan) Quinn, 93, beloved wife of the late Judge Francis Quinn, died Tuesday morning September 20, 2016, at the Center for Hospice Care at the Cottage at Avalon. Born in Jewett City, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Margaret (Melady) Sullivan.
Mrs. Quinn was a registered nurse working at both St. Francis Hospital in Hartford and St. Joseph Hospital in South Bend, IN prior to becoming a homemaker. She was a member of the Pautipaug Country Club and the Commerce Club. She enjoyed golfing, gardening, and playing bridge.
She is survived her son Michael Quinn of Houston, TX; her three daughters Kathleen Cipriani and her husband Donald of North Stonington, Colleen Cummings and her husband Thomas of Norwich, and Maureen McKenzie and her husband Peter of Kennebunk, ME; twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
