Elizabeth Ferrell Hartman, 93, of Lanett, AL
Ms. Elizabeth Hartman, 93, passed away on April 14, 2016 at East Alabama Medical Center. Ms. Hartman was born August 20, 1922 in Langdale, Alabama. A graduate of Lanett High School, she moved to Atlanta to be a “Rosie the Riveter” during World War II. She then returned to the Valley area where she worked at Playtex until retiring.
She is survived by her son, Dennis G. Hartman, granddaughter Ali (Cliff) Hartman Duck and two great grandchildren Presley and Beau.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Hartman, her parents Emma Jane and William Ferrell, sisters, Jesse (Russell, Sr.) Thrower, Hazel (James) Smith, Cedelia (J.D.) Christian, May Ferrell, and brother, Bud Ferrell.
Ms. Hartman loved the Atlanta Braves, Alabama Football and reading, but most of all she loved her family.
