Elizabeth”Libby” F. McGinnis, 99 years of age of Miami went to Heaven December 24th, 2011. She is survived by her husband, Harry Rivers McGinnis (also 99 years of age); 3 sons, Ralph Ernst McGinnis, Donald Rivers McGinnis and Roy Dale McGinnis; 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and her step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. She was born in Winnfield, Louisiana in 1912 and married Harry in Alexandria, Louisiana in 1932. They traveled to Miami that year, where they lived and raised a family. They were an inseparable pair and were married for 79 years. She was a loving, caring person who had many friends and was always ready to help anyone…she will be greatly missed.
