MENDON – Elizabeth (Erenius) Erickson, 86, of Mendon and formerly of Upton, died Friday evening, September 2, 2005 in the Lydia Taft House in Uxbridge where she had been a patient for seven months. Her husband of 48 years, Herbert E. Erickson, died in 1985.
Mrs. Erickson was born in Grafton, a daughter of the late Melker and Nellie (Atchue) Erenius. She was a 1937 graduate of Grafton High School and had lived in Upton for sixty years before moving to her son’s home in Mendon about three years ago.
She leaves one son, Robert Erickson and his wife, Mary Ann, of Mendon; a sister, Barbara Morrell of Tucson, AZ; two grandchildren, Scott Erickson of Mendon and Amy Erickson of Upton; and two great-grandchildren, Matthew and Samantha Erickson of Upton. She was also the sister of the late Joseph Erenius, formerly of Grafton.
