Elizabeth Lees DiVito, 97, of 44 Strong St. Ext., East Haven, passed away March 12, 2009 in St. Raphael’s Hospital. She was the widow of Cosmo DiVito. Born in Fauldhouse, Scotland on Aug. 12, 1911, she was the daughter of the late David and Robina Lees. At one time, she worked as a bookkeeper for the New Haven Register. Following her retirement, she operated Circle Country Store in North Madison in the early 1960’s.
