Elizabeth Courtney Black, 23, died Friday, February 14, 2020, at UT Methodist Transplant Center in Memphis, TN..M…M. until service time. Born in Union City, TN to Michael Clayton Black and Suzanne Marie Giles Black, Elizabeth was a 2014 Graduate of Oxford High School. Elizabeth attended The University of Mississippi and was currently attending Itawamba Community College, studying health information technology. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Oxford. Elizabeth was pure sunshine, with a kind and gentle heart. She loved her pets and animals, and was passionate about animal rescues. She enjoyed traveling, movies, and especially the love of music. She thoroughly enjoyed attending concerts with her best friend, her mother. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John T. and Nelda Black. Elizabeth is survived by her mother, Suzanne Giles Black of Oxford, MS; her Father, Clay Black and his wife, Susan of Fulton, KY; Grandparents, Donald and Nancy Giles of Water Valley, MS..
