Elizabeth Campbell Shoults Elizabeth Campbell Shoults (nee Locke), born on June 15th, 1939, passed away on July 12th, 2013. Liz, or Cammy, as she was affectionately known to her family and many of her close friends, is remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and she will be deeply missed by those she left behind. Liz is survived by her husband Martin of 51 years, her sister Cynthia of Weston Vermont, her son Nicholas of Ponte Vedra Beach Florida her daughter Tamsin of Ridgefield Connecticut and her 4 grandchildren, Stephanie, Samantha, Hector and Abby. She was predeceased by her eldest daughter Cathy four years ago. Liz was a graduate of the George School and attended Wells College and the University of Montpelier in Southern France where she studied French literature. She was an avid traveler throughout her lifetime and enjoyed painting and photography which became two of her passions later in life. Liz married Martin in England, but relocated with him to the United States in 1968 and subsequently settled in Redding, Connecticut, where she and her husband raised their family over the next 17 years. During this time, Liz built a very successful career as a real estate broker in Redding and Ridgefield. In 1988, Liz relocated to Europe with her husband and lived variously in Amsterdam, Laren, Brussels and Dusseldorf. For several years, she and her husband owned an apartment in the old part of town in Beaune, France where Liz honed her skills as a lover of all things French and a connoisseur of white Burgundies. In 1997, Liz and her husband sold their home in Redding, Connecticut and moved to Naples, Florida where they remained until Liz was diagnosed with cancer at which time she and Martin decided to move back to the northeast for treatment.
