Elizabeth Callaway Odom, 84, of Newnan passed away November 4, 2021 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. She was the eldest of six children born to J.B. Callaway and Corinne Gray Callaway. Elizabeth was born August 26, 1937 in Griffin, GA. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Howard Mason Odom, daughter Deborah Haynes, and great-granddaughter Alyssa Calhoun. Mrs. Odom was a longtime member of Unity Baptist Church. She worked for Bellsouth and Playtex before deciding to stay at home to be a fulltime mother. She later spent ten years as a home health aide.
