Elizabeth (Betty) Bibler, 90, of Anderson, passed away March 28, 2021, at the Clearvista Lake Health Center of Indianapolis.
She was born on December 31, 1930, in Indianapolis, IN. Her formative years were in Huntington, IN, graduating from Huntington High School in 1947. After graduating from Ball State University with a BA in Library Science, she married John “Jack” Bibler in 1953. In 1960 they moved to Anderson and raised two sons. Betty went to work at Anderson Community School Corporation in 1978 until she retired in 1994. She enjoyed her family, friends, faith, and performing random acts of kindness.
Betty is survived by her sons, Mark (Robin Drake) Bibler and David (Susie) Bibler; grandchildren, Stacy (Matt) Thompson and Taylor Bibler; great-grandchildren, Harper Thompson and Ainsley Thompson; and her sister, Phyllis Green and her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Beck and Mildred Timbrook; and her beloved husband, John G. Bibler; and their two dogs, Sammie and Mikey.
