Elizabeth A. Wichman Elizabeth “Betty” Wichman, 76, of Danbury, died on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Danbury Hospital surrounded by her loving family. A Danbury native, Betty was born on August 12, 1937 to Charles and Elizabeth (Stahl) Wichman. Betty was a long time employee of the Barden Corporation where she held many positions over the years and made many long lasting friendships. She was also an evening sales clerk at the family owned business, Central Package Store of Bethel. After retirement, Betty found joy in being a dog sitter and developed quite a following. Betty enjoyed travelling in her younger days, and cooking became a passion later in life. Most especially, she enjoyed her time spent with her family and closest of friends and she will be sorely missed. Betty is survived by three nieces, Cynthia Lucas and her husband, Chester of New Fairfield, Susan Wichman of Danbury and Samantha Conrad and her husband, Mark of New Milford; a nephew, Jonathan Wichman and his wife, Lenore of Bethel; her sister in law, Louise Wichman of Danbury and her grandnieces and grandnephews: Chester, William, Elizabeth and Melissa Lucas, Dillon and Jake Wichman, Kyle, Andrea and Kristen Conrad, Kathryn, Joshua, Michael, David, Elizabeth, Lila, Bradley and Robert Wichman. In addition to her parents, Betty was predeceased by her three brothers, Charles Wichman, Robert Wichman and William Wichman.
