Elizabeth “Betty” Sarkozi passed from this life early Sunday morning, February 5, 2012. She had just turned 96 years of age in December, and for the most part was healthy and had a sound mind. She resided for the past almost four years at Abbe Hall Assisted Living in Bethlehem, PA on Fourth Street. She had a private room there and they took good care of her. Betty was married to Frank Sarkozi for 61 years, and he was a long-time employee of Bethlehem Steel and he passed away in 1998. They had no children of their own but left a legacy of love, and a strong sense of values. Betty was the primary caregiver for her mother in the final years of her mother’s life.
