New Lebanon – Elizabeth ‘Betty’ Harrington Ramella, 89, died Monday, September 3, 2018, at Samaritan Hospital.
Born in West Sand Lake, she was daughter of the late Harold Harrington and Marion Humphrey Harrington and wife of the late Raymond L. Ramella. She was raised in West Sand Lake and resided in Connecticut, Stephentown and New Lebanon and was a graduate of Averill Park High School.
Mrs. Ramella was a homemaker. She was a dedicated mom and loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include her children, Karen (Curtis) Bubie, East Hampton, CT, Deborah (Richard) Brown, Stephentown, Donald (Christine) Ramella, Stephentown and Dale (Timothy) Hoctor, New Lebanon; her grandchildren, David, Daniel and Kevin Bubie, Richard, Peter and Timothy Brown, Michael Ramella, Angela Alessi and Stephen Houghtling; 17 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Harold Harrington Jr.; a sister, Gloria King and a granddaughter, Erica Houghtling.
