Elizabeth “Betty” Keeler, 89, formerly of Fountain Hill, passed away peacefully on Saturday February 18, 2017 at the Phoebe Home in Allentown. She was the wife of the late Raymond D. Keeler who passed away on November 1, 1995. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Fidler) Hendricks. Betty was a member of the former 1st U.C.C. in Bethlehem, where she served as past president of the women’s guild, and also on the consistory. She is currently a member of Trinity U.C.C. in Bethlehem. She worked as a teacher/Manager for the Ceramic Studio in Philadelphia for 12 years until retiring in 1982. Betty was on the board of directors of South Side Ministries and New Bethany Ministries. She was also a past president of the Lehigh Valley Food Phone. Survivors: step sons Raymond Keeler, Jr of Palisade, MN, Richard Keeler (Mary) of Bensalem, Ronald Keeler (Constance), Paul Keeler (Justina) all of Bethlehem, Mark Keeler (Silke) of Bath; step daughters Ruth Decker (Walter) and Louise Dreher of Bethlehem, Robin Long (John) of Birdsboro; daughter Lillian; 16 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brothers, twin brother William Hendricks of Delaware, Theodore Hendricks (Marion) of Bethlehem. She was predeceased by her siblings John, Harry, Joseph, Henrietta, Anna, and Ruth.
