Elizabeth “Betty” June Kurtz, 81, of Williamsport, died peacefully Thursday, January 03, 2019 at the Williamsport Home.
Born April 11, 1937 in Lock Haven, Clinton County, PA, she was a daughter of John B. and Philomena (Marino) Severino. She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley R. Kurtz on May 31, 2011.
Betty graduated from the Renovo Catholic School. Throughout her life, she was employed at Bell Telephone and Tetley Tea in the Williamsport area.
Surviving are two children Val Forsha (Frank) of Milton and Jon D. Kurtz (Beth) of Harrisburg, three grandchildren Colin Forsha of Milton, Joshua Kurtz (Mary) of Indianapolis, and Justin Kurtz of Harrisburg, two great grandsons Jay and Henry Kurtz, a sister Rita Miller of Lock Haven, two brothers William Severino of Buffalo, NY and Charles Severino of Atlanta, GA.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a sister Rosemary Resetar of Camp Hill, PA and a brother Joseph “Sonny” Severino of Atlanta, GA.
