Elizabeth “Betty” (DuHaime) Kunkler, Pomponio of Bristol, a former Wolcott resident, widow of Anthony F. Kunkler and Nicholas Pomponio, died May 17th, 2017 at Solaris – Vitas Hospice Care, Merritt Island, Florida. Betty was born in Bristol on November 2, 1922 and was a daughter of the late Henry E. and Etiennette (Daveluy) DuHaime. She resided in Bristol before moving to Wolcott 53years ago and then back to Bristol in 2008. Betty was always full of life, loved natures beauty and she was loved by many. She was an artist, a florist and a prolific painter for which she won several first-place ribbons at juried art shows.
