Elizabeth “Betsy” Harris Goodman, 65, of Gold Hill went to be with the Lord Tuesday February 19, 2013 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis.
She was born June 27, 1947 in Cabarrus County, the daughter of the late M.O. Harris II and Mary Junker Harris.
Betsy worked at Cannon Mills before retiring. She loved being outdoors and riding horse, doing crafts, being with family, and in earlier years working side by side with her husband, Ray.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by step-sons Randy Goodman, Alan Goodman and Gary Goodman.
Those left to cherish her memory are husband: H. Ray Goodman of Gold Hill, step-son :Larry Goodman of Salisbury, step-grandchildren: Brian Goodman, Amanda Evans, Carrie Moose, Kevin Goodman, Cindy Alley, Larry Goodman, Jr., Tonya Goodman and brother: M.O. Harris III of Concord, five step-great-grandchildren and many loving and helpful friends.
