Elizabeth Barclay Phillips, age 53 of St Charles passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at her home in St Charles surrounded by family.
She was born November 27, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Samuel and Karen ( Habenicht ) Barclay.
Elizabeth was an assistant manager in the retail industry for many years. She was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking and doing various craft projects. Elizabeth loved animals and nature, and was committed to natural living.
She is survived by Tim Kuhr her life partner of 25 years; their son Ian Kuhr of St Charles; granddaughter Penny Kuhr; brother William K Barclay of Geneva ( and his children Christopher, Geoffrey and Kaitlin ); sister Carol Barclay Stone of North Carolina; Tim’s children Nathan, Colin, Mikee, Tristan and Travis Kuhr; and several nieces and nephews.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents; and maternal grandparents Knute and Florice Habenicht.
