Elizabeth Aunt Bisses Orres, 93, of Ottawa, died Thursday night, March 17, 2011 at Pleasant View Nursing Home. Elizabeth was born November 13, 1917 in South Dakota to Omer and Malena (Johnson) Orres. She retired as an office manager and bookkeeper for Burns Machine Co.
She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Sons of Norway, volunteered and served on the board at Pleasant View, participated in bake sales, and volunteered at church. She was an accomplished baker and cook. Aunt Bisses was an avid gardener and traveled all over the US and Europe. Elizabeth is survived by 1 brother, Clarence Orres, of Ottawa; 2 nieces, Diane (Joe) Bandza, of New Lenox, IL and Carol (Mark) Booth, of Worth, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother Marvin Orres.
