Elizabeth Ann Wright Reddington, 83, of Boise, died on Friday, September 25, 2015 from complications of a stroke. She was born in Bennington, Idaho on February 14, 1932 to William Grant and Julia Elizabeth Crane Wright.
She enrolled at Idaho State College Secretarial Program in Pocatello, Idaho that fall, where she completed her training and met her sweetheart, Orville A. “Slim” Reddington. After graduation she was employed as an insurance underwriter at Bryan and Co., Inc., where she worked until she was married. She married Slim on July 31, 1952, in Salmon, Idaho. Their first child, Randy, was born while they lived in Salmon, after which they moved to Wendell, then Cambridge, and then to Bliss where Slim became the Superintendent of Schools. In 1962, they moved to Boise, bought their home on acreage on the outskirts of town. She remained in this house for the rest of her life.
In 1965 she was blessed with another son, Grant, and in 1969, a baby girl, Susan. Her life revolved around her family, being a homemaker and having nourishing meals on the table, at specific times, every day.
Survivors include her three children, Randy (Dawna) Reddington of Rupert, Grant (Maria) Reddington of Boise and Susan (Alan) Johnson of Cedar Hills, Utah.
