Elizabeth Anne Mills, affectionately known as “Libby”, of Fredericksburg, Texas, died on December 24, 2015. She was born in Forest City, North Carolina. Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Forester J. Mills Sr. “Jay”, son Forester J. Mills Jr. “Buddy” and daughter-in-law, Heidi Mills; and daughter Dee Bohnert. As well as four grandchildren, Dustin Mills and wife Leslie Mills; Heather Mills Durand and husband Mike Durand; Sydney Bohnert Benge and husband Sheldon Benge; and Austin Bohnert. Elizabeth adored her three great-grandchildren, Hunter and Brayden Durand, and Stratton Mills. She was anxiously awaiting the arrival of her fourth great-grandson, Harrison Benge, due to be born in late January 2016.
Elizabeth was proceeded in death her parents Dupree J. and Gertrude M. Mahaffey.
Elizabeth attended San Antonio College and retired from Northside Independent School District, Holmes High School. She served on the Board of Directors of the Texas Highway Department Federal Credit Union.
