Elizabeth Ann Evans passed away suddenly on Friday, October 11, following a brief illness. She was 63. Liz was born in Morristown, NJ on December 29, 1955.
An honors graduate of Presentation of Mary Academy in Methuen, MA, she went on to study Art at the Rhode Island School of Design and received a BS in Animal Sciences from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in the late 70s.
Liz was a beloved member of a large and loving family. She especially loved animals, enjoyed all things nature, and was quite knowledgeable about animal species and the ecosystem. She was also a talented artist and loved photography.
Liz was predeceased by her father, James B. Evans Jr., and sisters, Catherine LeClaire and Carolyn Evans.
She is survived by her mother, Elizabeth S. Evans of Melbourne FL; a sister, Nancy, and husband John Machuzak of Albuquerque, NM; brothers, Dr. James B. Evans III, and wife, Mary, of Viera, FL; Daniel Evans and wife, Maryann, of Rockledge, FL; Martin Evans of West Palm Bay, FL; William Evans and wife, Janie, of Coleman, MI; and brother-in-law, Rene LeClaire of Los Alamos, NM, as well as many nieces and nephews.
