Elizabeth Ann Calderwood, 63, of Milford, beloved wife of 29 years of Kevin Calderwood, departed this life on Monday, August 7, 2006 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Elizabeth was born on July 27, 1943 in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Donald and Marion (Davenport) Thennes. She attended Milford High School and graduated the class of 1961. Elizabeth was a member of the Milford Senior Center. In her spare time she loved sailing and being on the water. She was also an avid painter, gardener, and loved to read. The most important part of her life by far, was her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Kevin Calderwood of Milford. Her beloved children: Donald Hannon and his wife Tracey of West Haven, Nancy McNary and her husband Kenneth of Milford, and Ronald Hannon and his wife Holly of Milford. She also leaves her seven grandchildren: Ryan, Brittany, Ethan, Taylor, Emily, Jonathan, and Spencer. She’s also missed by her loving dog, Mikee. Along with her parents, Elizabeth is preceded in death by her step-mother, Irene (Estock) Thennes.
