Elizabeth Adele “Beth” Hammond, age 81 of Denver, Colorado passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2015.
Beth was born on December 15, 1933, in Carlyle, Illinois, the daughter of Walter and Marie Gilmore. She married Gerald E. Hammond on September 3, 1955 and they lived in Highland, Illinois where they raised their six children. They divorced in 1976 and she did not remarry.
Beth is survived by her six children; Mark Gerald Jr., Gregory, Stephanie, Christopher, and Natalie; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister Mary Hanna; and one brother Steven Gilmor.
Beth was an active member of the Catholic Church. She moved to Denver in 2007 to live near her daughter Stephanie. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
