She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Earnest Watkins; husband, Harry Madden; four sisters, Lucy Hampton, Julia Roberts, Mary Jones and Cynthia Hampton-Jarman; three brothers, Billy Joe Horton, John Ralph Orr, and Jimmy Orr; one step-brother: Lamar Watkins and one stepson, Michael Teague.
She leaves to cherish her memory: one daughter, Lucenior “Keeta” (Wilson) Cross; two grandchildren, Courtney Cross and Brittany Cross all of Decatur, AL; Five brothers, Alton Orr of Huntsville, AL, William Hampton, Don Hampton, Alandress Hampton, and Derrick Hampton all of Decatur, AL; Nine sisters, Dorothy(Sammy) Orr of Decatur, AL, Joyce (Emanuel) Orr-Jenkins of Birmingham, AL, Deazarine (Leon) Petty, Ada Biddings, and Wanda Kate Clemons all of Decatur, AL, Linda Qualls of Newark, New Jersey, Cassandra Hicks, Felicia and Katrina Falconer of Huntsville, AL; Four aunts, Doris Dancy, Nell Nichols, and Pearl Alexander all of Decatur, AL and Ruth Batts of Massey, AL; One uncle, Ardie B.
