Elizabeth A “Betty” Dodd, of Bridgeport, passed peacefully September 21, 2012 at The Heritage in her 92nd year. She was born in Clarksburg to the late Lewis and Hattie Gain Deem. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her beloved husband Robert “Bob” Dodd and first husband Arthur Johnson and two brothers. She was retired from Household Finance Corporation where she worked for many years as a credit interviewer. She was a devoted member of First Presbyterian Church of Clarksburg where she was a choir member. She was also a member of the Clarksburg Women’s Club, and YWCA. Surviving is a host of friends.
