Elio Boccuzzi, age 73, of Trumbull, passed away on October 23, 2021. Elio was born in San Mango, Sul Calora, Italy, to the late Vitantonio and Domenica Boccuzzi. He immigrated to the United States at the age of eighteen and lived in Trumbull for 48 years.
Owner of Elio’s Hair Styling in Fairfield for 38 years, Elio was known by his clients for his quick wit and sense of humor to the delight and entertainment of his many longtime customers. A devoted family man, Elio could always be counted on for a helping hand as well as for words of wisdom where needed. He always had a kind word for everyone.
Elio is survived by his beloved and devoted wife, Nancy A. Boccuzzi, their loving son, David Boccuzzi, and his wife, Marina, who was the daughter he never had, their son, Max, was the cherished apple of his eye. Survived also by his brother, Sabino Boccuzzi and his wife Denise of Stratford, Quinto Boccuzzi and his wife Isabella of Florida, his sister, Olimpia Melchionno and her husband Bart of Monroe as well as a plethora of cherished nieces and nephews. Elio was also predeceased by two sisters in Italy.
