Schwartzkopf, Elinor D. (Kuk)
Elinor, age 93, went home to the Lord on Thursday, March 8, 2018. Elinor D. Kuk was born on May 31, 1924 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Julius and Amelia (Renn) Kuk. She married Benjamin Schwartzkopf on February 1, 1947. He preceded her in death on May 8, 1979 after 32 years of marriage. Elinor was a longtime and faithful member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church. She enjoyed playing Bingo as well as taking daily walks.
Surviving are one son, William J. Rice of Saline, Michigan; a grandson, Steven J. (Carolyn) Rice of Sammamish, WA; a granddaughter, Jennifer M. (Andy) Turner of Ann Arbor, MI; and four great-grandchildren: Blake Turner, Samantha Rice, Colin Turner, and Benjamin Rice.
She was preceded in death by a special daughter-in-law, Joyce M. Rice; two brothers and three sisters: Harold Kuk, Rudy Kuk, Elsie Poole, Ida Wyatt, and Clara Cox.
