Elinor Cresenti Petrucci, 91, formerly of Harkness Drive, Milford, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2016 in Milford Healthcare. She was the wife of the late Anthony Carmen Petrucci. Born in New Haven on Jan. 14, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Rose Bria Cresenti. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a bookkeeper for May Coat Co. She lived in West Haven for 44 years and was very active in St. Paul’s parish. She served as president of the Catholic Women of St. Paul and was a member of their carnival committee. More recently, she was a member of the Milford Senior Center and Christ the Redeemer parish. The family would like to thank the staff at Milford Healthcare for their loving care and attention to Elinor over the past six years.
She is survived by two sons, Paul (Marguerite) Petrucci of Hamden and Michael (Tina) Petrucci of Milford; a sister in law, Phyllis DiNello of West Haven; four grandchildren, Nicholas, Joseph, Adrianna and Todd; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Dominic and Michael Cresenti and six sisters, Rita Brescia, Lucy Cirillo, Anna Sena, Frances Meinson, Jennie DelGrego and Christine Elia.
