Elena Rasmussen, 68, Deming resident passed away Saturday January 12, 2019 at Providence Sierra Medical Center in El Paso, Texas.
Elena was born October 18, 1950 to Ofelia Blanco and Jose Renova in Gomez Farias, Chihuahua, Mexico. Upon retirement she and her husband moved to Deming in 2002 from Las Vegas, Nevada. Elena was a communicant of the Catholic faith.
Elena is survived by her mother, Ofelia Renova of Deming; son, Jose Landeros of Deming; daughter, Ana Maria Landeros of Las Vegas, NV; one brother, Humberto Renova of Las Vegas, NV; 4 grand-daughters, Adriana, Isabel, Marianna and Aiyanna; one great-grandson, Ivan.
She was preceded in death by her father; Jose Renova, husband, Max Guy Rasmussen in 2011 and son Juan.
