Born November 2, 1963 in Poughkeepsie, NY, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Joseph DiRubbio and Sophia Charkalis DiRubbio. Elena was a recently retired Corrections Officer for Fishkill Correctional Facility and a former Waitress and Bartender for Trump National of the Hudson Valley, Stormville, NY. Survivors include: her son, William Daniel Eckert and his fiance Danielle Lee Soto of Wappingers Falls, her mother Sophia Charkalis DiRubbio and her companion Jason Morse of Wappingers Falls, her sister, Danette DiRubbio of Wappingers Falls, her brother, Dean P. DiRubbio and his wife Deborah of Beacon, two grandchildren, William Alexander and Elizabeth Ella, two nieces, Sadie Jane and Danielle Rose DiRubbio, her former husband, William James Eckert, as well as many additional family members and friends.
