Eleanore Louise Smith, age 91, of Milford, beloved wife to the late Joseph F. Smith, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at the Milford Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Haverhill, MA on October 17, 1924, Eleanore was the daughter of the late Armand and Alzena Flanders LaPierre. Eleanore was the loving mother of her children David K. Hartford (Edith) of Milford, Sharon Plante (Philippe) of Shelton, and Deborah Wells (Allan) of West Haven, six grandchildren, Christine (Greg) Grigas, Murphy (Shelley) Hartford, Meredith (Brian) McAloon, Thomas Caraglio, Louis (Christine) Plante, Jason (Jennifer) Plante, and eight great-grandchildren in addition to her three “grand-dogs;” Bubba, Zena, and Lola.
