Eleanore C. Gnott of St. Joseph Care Center, formerly of Brick Road, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2006, at 12:45 PM, of natural causes.
As Eleanore Janowiak, she married Frank L. Gnott on June 23, 1934. He died on March 27, 1976. She was a homemaker and mother. Preceding her in death were a daughter, Elizabeth A. Gnott in 1994, and a son, Edward E. Gnott in 2004. Also preceding her in death were her brother, Cashmer Janowiak; sisters, Stella St. Germaine, Helen Grabowski, and Mary Buysse. Surviving are two daughters, Jacqueline M. Gnott of South Bend, and Janet H. Point of Kokomo, IN; and a daughter-in-law, Sally L. Gnott of South Bend. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Lisa A. VorBroker (Jim) of Zionsville, IN, Kevin Point of Chicago, IL, Eric A. Point of Vicksburg, MI, Edward E. Gnott II (Lori) of Edwardsburg, MI, Stacey L. Huff (Tim) of Osceola,and Eric M. Gnott of South Bend; 13 great-grandchildren; and her beloved grand dogs, Thorn and Baby Brier.
