Eleanor Jean Turner Alexander was born in Coweta County on February 24, 1935. She was one of six children born to the late Clinton Levi and Willie Mae Thompson Turner.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Geneva Turner McKenzie and Mary Lee Jordan. She was employed as a communications worker and retired from Bell South in 1995. Eleanor was a woman of great personal strength and strong convictions in her duties as a mother, a conscientious employee, sister, and doting grandmother. She will forever be a wonderful memory to her son Emory Guy Alexander and his wife Becky; her grandchildren Anna Rita Alexander and Elizabeth Joyce Alexander and her great-grandchild Mia Morman. Also surviving her are her siblings, Patricia Ann Phillips, Horace Turner, and Evelyn Turner Olmstead.
