Eleanor D. Roth, 77, of O’Fallon, Ill., born February 6, 1930 in Granite City, Ill., went Home, to be with the Lord, on Saturday, June 9, 2007 at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill. She most recently worked as an administrative assistant at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, retiring from that position in 1992.
She was a member of the O’Fallon Assembly of God, where she taught adult Sunday school. She was devoted to her family and her Christian faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Antoni and Stefania, nee Klekotka, Chorosevic, and 7 brothers and sisters.
Eleanor is survived by her husband of 51 years, Martin Roth of O’Fallon, Ill., 3 children, Christine (Gerald) Emling of Nashville, Ill., Richard (Barbara) Roth of Rocklin, Calif., Victoria Roth of Weldon Springs, MO., a sister Gertrude (Leo) Roth of Edwardsville, Ill., brother Jerome (Thelma) Chorosevic of Bristol, Virg., and 3 grandchildren, Jonathan and Eric Emling, both of Nashville, Ill., and Sarah Roth of Rocklin, Calif.
