Mrs. Eleanor M Kritner, 89, died Thursday, December 5, at the Exempla Colorado Lutheran Home in Arvada, CO. Eleanor May Kritner was born April 30, 1924 in Potter, NE to Emil and Lola D. Nelson. She graduated from Parks Business School in Denver and worked until she married Lavern Kritner on November, 17 1946 and subsequently moved to Canon City. She worked in Canon City for several different organizations including the Canon City School District and Estes Industries. After her husband died on April 5, 1977 she moved back to Denver and worked until she retired from Metro State College where she had earned a Bachelor’s Degree with Honors in May of 1985.
