Eleanor M. Boroch, 97, of 300 Valley Street, Duboistown, died Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at her home.
Eleanor’s husband of 76 years, Anthony L. Boroch, died December 12, 1981.
Eleanor for many years was a member of the Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church. Currently she is a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church.
Eleanor retired from the textile industry.
Born May 22, 1914 in Middleport, Schuylkill County, she was the daughter of Walter and Rosalia Bartush Markowicz.
Surviving are a sons, Anthony W. (Jean) of Williamsport and Charles M. (Joyce) of Jersey Shore: daughters, Rose Marie Boroch and Helene L. Boroch both of Beltsville, MD, Patricia A. (Kenneth) Koehler of DuBoistown and Mary E. (Bruce) Savoy of Williamsport: sister, Mary Hart of Williamsport: fourteen grandchildren: twenty-two great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Eleanor was predeceased by brothers, Frank Markowicz I, Frank Markowicz II, Joseph Markowicz and sisters, Helen Susko and Viola Tudor.
