Eleanor Katherine Kost, age 75, of Liberty Township, Youngstown, who made her home in Salem the last six months with her sister, died Monday evening, December 17, 2012 at the Hospice House in Poland, Ohio. She was born June 9, 1937 in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Ernest Frederick and Angelika (Hansch) Kost. Eleanor was a 1955 graduate of Liberty High School and graduated from Wittenberg University with a degree in food and nutrition. She worked for a number of years at the Youngstown Hospital Association, worked at the Cafaro Hospital in Youngstown and at Shepard of the Valley in Niles. Survivors include her sister, Elaine Rousseau-Kothera of Salem; two nieces, Gwen Rousseau of Salem and Mariah Rousseau of Gahanna, Ohio; a nephew, Jeremy Rousseau of Helen, Georgia; and a great-nephew, Alec Tuohy of Gahanna, Ohio.
