Eleanor Johnson of Rancocas passed away at home on September 27, 2022 at the age of 93. She was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of the late Max and Emma Preschle. Eleanor graduated from Olney High School, the class of 1946. In 1946 she married Haines Johnson of Rancocas and there they raised their two children Carol and Craig. She dedicated her life to her family and to teaching piano. She was active in church and bible studies over the years. Cooking, baking, reading, traveling and spending time with her family, friends, and animals is what she enjoyed.
She was known for her generous spirit and her smile. She is preceded by her husband Haines Johnson. Surviving are her daughter Carol Carroll and son Craig Johnson, both of Rancocas; Grandchildren: Deborah (Eugene) Jabkowski, Michael, Jen Metzger, Jamie (Patrick) Carter; Great Grandchildren: Eugene (Jessica) Jabkowski, Chloey (Adam) Jobes, Kayla Jabkowski, Brynn and Austin Metzger, Alivya Johnson, Gracelyn, Hopelynn and Nash Carter; Great Great Grandchildren: Emmett and Jackson Jabkowski, Bradley and Lucas Jobes.
