She was preceded in death by her husband Robert R. Gardner, Sr. and her two sisters, Emily Widmer and Helen Gott. Ellie is survived by her daughter, Carol Mondich and her husband Samuel, her son, Robert R. Gardner, Jr., and her two grandsons, Matthew and Nicholas Mondich.
