Mrs. Eleanor C. Pearson, 86, of Southbury died Monday December 29th at The Lutheran Home of Southbury. She was the widow of Robert Rutledge Pearson with whom she had been married to for 59 years.
Mrs. Pearson was born November 16, 1922 in Woodbury the daughter of the late Fred and Dorothy (Cowles) Curtiss. She worked for the Woodbury Telephone Company for over 40 years beginning her career as a phone operator and retiring in business administrative work. After her retirement, she began volunteering at the Woodbury Senior Center and Waterbury Hospital.
