Eleanor B. Mahonski, 82, of 715 Poplar Street, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at Rose View Center following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born April 12, 1927 in Williamsport, she was the daughter of Frederick and Kathryn Petoski Fredo.
Surviving are sons, Robert (Debbie) Mahonski of Bodines, Rick Mahonski of South Williamsport and Ron (Janet) Mahonski of Williamsport; a daughter, Diane (Charles) Masters of Williamsport; a brother, William C. (Theresa) Fredo of Williamsport; grandchildren, Matthew (Heather) and Charles (Annie) Masters, Jaime, Lauren, and Christopher Mahonski, Bobbi Jo (Tommy) Springman and Billy (Heather) Mahonski; and great grandchildren, Sophia, Elizabeth, Anna, Tommy III and Robert Springman, Allison and Marissa Mahonski and Avery Masters.
Eleanor was predeceased by her husband, Robert C. Mahonski in 2005 and sons Bill and David.
