Eleanor Barton Leonardi, age 77, of West Haven entered into rest February 6, 2011 at the Hospital of St. Raphael. She was the wife of the late Bennie J. Leonardi. Mother of Cathy Vellucci of Cheshire, Diane Leonardi of East Haven and Ellen (Paul) Marini of Orange. Sister of Jack Barton of Aiken, SC and the late Henry Donald Barton. Grandmother of Patrick Leonardi, Kyle Vellucci and Jagger Vellucci. She was born in Aiken, South Carolina,a daughter of the late Henry E. and Corrie Lou Rutland Barton. Eleanor retired from Helicopter Support as an executive secretary after many years and prior to that she was employed at the former Hartford National Bank. Eleanor’s family wishes to express their gratitude to the entire staff on Verdi 4 North at the Hospital of St. Raphael for their kind and compassionate care.
