Eldridge Russell, Jr was born on December 31, 1943 in Petersburg, Virginia to Eldridge Sr and Melzetta Russell. After his heroic battle with heart disease, Eldridge departed this life to be with His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 5, 2015 at the Hospice of Chesapeake. At his bedside was his wife, daughter, and son-n-law.
Eldridge received his education in the Petersburg School District. He moved to the Washington, DC area in the mid 1960’s. In 1969, he was united in marriage to Fannie Williams and from that union came their only child, Sharon Denise. Sharon was the joy of his life.
