Eldora Marie Poppen was born August 24, 1938, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, to Henry and Anna (Ricklefs) Poppen. She went to country school and then graduated in 1957 from Palmer High School, Palmer, Iowa. On January 11, 1959, Eldora married Eldon Norman Janssen at St.
They were blessed with two children Danette Ranae (Janssen) Nimke of Manson, and Mark David (Lori) Janssen of Gilmore City.
Survivors include daughter Danette (Marvin) Nimke, son Mark (Lori) Janssen; five grandchildren Aaron, Angela, Andrea,Travis and Andrew. She was blessed with an additional eight great grandchildren Jacalyn, Emma, Marcus, Grace, Jacob, Chance, Noah and Colin. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Eldon of 55 years; two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law.
