Eldora Marie Blair, nee Kohl, 84, Stockton, IL, died Saturday, January 14, 2012, at the Stockton Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born February 2, 1927, in Nora, IL, the daughter of Roy and Mabel Kohl.

She was a 1945 graduate of Lena High School. She married Alfred John Blair on June 14, 1945. He died on November 24, 2002. She was a teacher’s assistant at Holy Cross School in Stockton for many years. She also worked at the L.A. Drive-In in Stockton for several years. She was an active member of the Jo Daviess County Home Extension, Jo Daviess County Farm Bureau, and the Stockton Bowling Association. She loved to golf, go to dances, and play cards. She was an avid bowler and continued to do so until the last few months. She saw much of the United States by attending bowling tournaments.

Survivors include; one son, John (Deb Jordan), Stockton; two daughters, Cynthia (Jack) Foulkes, Oak Lawn, IL, Becky (Dale) Arnold, Stockton; nine grandchildren. Eleven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Bernice Cox of Lena; one brother-in-law, Clyde Blair of Warren and one sister-in-law, Vida Neeble of Pearl City; numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews; and her companion of several years, William Bonnet of Stockton.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred, one infant daughter Janice, one grandson, Robert Charles Blair; four brothers (Clifford, Albert, Glenn, and Carl), and one sister, Marjorie Pfieffer.
