Eldora M. Smith, 93, of Freeport, died Saturday, October 4, 2014, at her home. Born December 1, 1920 in Waddams Grove she was the daughter of George and Ida (Busjahn) Baker. She married Norris Smith in 1947 and he died in 1999.She worked at Micro Switch for 31 years retiring in 1982.She was a charter member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.Surviving are two daughters, Janet (Gerald) Fye of Freeport and Lynn Lopez of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one son, Brian Smith of Cedarville; one sister, Irene Julius of Monroe, Wisconsin; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two infant sons, husband and two sisters.
