Eldon Ward Rawlins, 73, passed away at his home in Westminster, Colorado, on May 28, 2021 with his family at his side.
He was born October 15, 1947 in Chillicothe, Missouri, the first child of Ellis and Carolyn (Walz) Rawlins. He was a 1965 graduate of Hale High School in Hale, Missouri and a 1969 graduate of Central Missouri State University. He entered the U.S. Army in 1969 and graduated from Officer Candidate School at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. He served in the Corps of Engineers, including deployment to Vietnam during 1969 and 1970.
He is survived by his son, Aaron Rawlins and wife, Madi, granddaughters Morgan and Hayley Rawlins, bonus grandchildren Harrison and Avery Frizzell, one brother, Ed Rawlins, and two sisters, Brenda Gilson and Randa Rawlins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Carolyn Rawlins.
